Terras Gauda is a large and reliable producer of Albariños and other Galician whites, based in the O-Rosal subzone of the Rías Baixas region. This verdant area is the furthest south of the region and this has no doubt contributed to the slightly weightier, peachy style of white here. Whilst large, Terras Gauda is innovative and are doing some good work with native grapes, less famous than Albariño. In this case the wine is a blend of 70% Albariño (fruity aromas and mouthfeel), 18% Loureiro (floral aromas) and 12% Caíño Blanco (structure and exotic fruit). It all adds up to a great wine, fresh, complex and peachy - though think elegant, rather than fruit-bomb.

Another "wow" wine and also a generous dose of "OMG". This wine you just have to try. Danish Winemaker Peter Sisseck is the genius behind one of Spain´s most cult and expensive wines "Pingus" and knows and understands the Ribera del Duero region intimately. PSI is a relatively new project,...
Another stunning wine from the breathtaking Ribeira Sacra region, this one winning a Regional Trophy in Decanter Magazine. Juicy perfumed Mencía, aged for 12 months in new French oak. PLEASE NOTE THAT SPECIAL SHIPPING RATES APPLY TO ALCOHOLIC ITEMS.
I love this wine! Brilliant, mouthfilling, textured genius from Rafael Palacios. Made from the über-trendy Godello grape, grown at 600m altitude in Valdeorras in NW Spain, this type of wine is right at the forefront of Spanish winemaking. Showing citrus, fennel and stonefruit notes and a bit like a Chardonnay...
