The Tempranillo grapes used in this wine come from La Horra and from vines average age 40 years. Soils are clay, loam and sandy at 800-840 meters of altitude.
Has an intense robe with cherry-red colour and blue highlights. Clean, bright and extremely well presented.
Very nice complexity in the nose aromas. The red fruits dominate over the species: vanillia, cinnamon, nutmeg and pink pepper. It is enhanced by sweet touches of oak toffee and coffee.
The taste has an excellent silky structure, well balanced and full-flavoured, with sweet and round tannins married to light acidity, giving a fresh, harmonic tone to the palate. Long and elegant finish.
