Another "wow" wine and also a generous dose of "OMG". This wine you just have to try. Danish Winemaker Peter Sisseck is the genius behind one of Spain´s most cult and expensive wines "Pingus" and knows and understands the Ribera del Duero region intimately.
PSI is a relatively new project, started with the aim of saving some great parcels of old "Tinto Fino" vines owned by local growers. The growers are encouraged to farm organically or biodynamically and the wine is made using just natural yeasts in a hands-off way. When I first tried it, I was blown away. This wine also was also listed first in the region in the New York Times. PLEASE...
Another stunning wine from the breathtaking Ribeira Sacra region, this one winning a Regional Trophy in Decanter Magazine. Juicy perfumed Mencía, aged for 12 months in new French oak. PLEASE NOTE THAT SPECIAL SHIPPING RATES APPLY TO ALCOHOLIC ITEMS.

Contino wines are masterful examples of Rioja, produced under the careful guidance of industry veteran Jesús Madrazo. Not the showiest wines in the region, the house style is modernised textbook Rioja, with a nice elegance and perfect balance. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, with the wine then matured in...
