Another "wow" wine and also a generous dose of "OMG". This wine you just have to try. Danish Winemaker Peter Sisseck is the genius behind one of Spain´s most cult and expensive wines "Pingus" and knows and understands the Ribera del Duero region intimately.
PSI is a relatively new project, started with the aim of saving some great parcels of old "Tinto Fino" vines owned by local growers. The growers are encouraged to farm organically or biodynamically and the wine is made using just natural yeasts in a hands-off way. When I first tried it, I was blown away. Another stunning wine from the breathtaking Ribeira Sacra region, this one winning a Regional Trophy in Decanter Magazine. Juicy perfumed Mencía, aged for 12 months in new French oak. PLEASE NOTE THAT SPECIAL SHIPPING RATES APPLY TO ALCOHOLIC ITEMS.
