Maisulan project was born in 2001, when Luis Ruiz de Viñaspre decided to create his own project, thus disassociating himself from the family winery where he had been raised and where he had learned the bases of this complex world of winemaking.
The project is based on 20 ha.of vinyard, with vines that are at the foot of the Sierra de Cantabria, in Elvillar and Laguardia. This own production gives the winery total control of the type of wine that wants to make, because as farmers, we know that the origin of a great wine, is in the vineyard. Together with a traditional viticulture, we use the most modern means in the elaboration to obtain the best wines.
